Job summary

Nanyang Technological University (ERI@N) in Singapore seeks a senior engineer to lead the scale-up of vanadium redox flow battery stacks from prototype to commercial scale. You will develop, assemble, and validate stack designs, performing structured testing, durability studies, and failure analysis.

Qualifications

Bachelor/master’s or PhD in Mechanical engineering or related discipline.
Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience in electrochemical stack development, preferably VRFBs or similar systems.
Experience with manufacturing, assembly, performance testing and process development of VRFB stacks.

Responsibilities

Lead the scale-up of vanadium redox flow battery stacks from prototype to commercial scale.
Develop, assemble, and validate stack designs through testing, durability studies, and failure analysis.
Collaborate with manufacturing and supply chain to ensure production-readiness and cost-effectiveness.
Establish test rigs, SOPs, quality benchmarks, and use data to drive design improvement.
