NTU Energy Research Institute @ NTU (ERI@N) in Singapore invites applications for a Senior Research Fellow to develop vanadium redox flow battery stacks from pilot scale to commercial systems, ensuring performance, reliability and manufacturability. Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in Mechanical engineering/chemical/electrochemical/material or related discipline.
• 2–5 years hands-on experience in electrochemical stack development, preferably VRFBs or fuel cells.
• Strong knowledge of stack scaling, assembly and performance testing; experience with durability testing, failure analysis, and data-driven design.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of VRFB stacks from prototype to commercial scale while ensuring performance and reliability.
• Assemble and validate stack designs through testing, durability studies, and failure analysis.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and supply chain to ensure production-readiness and cost-effectiveness; establish test rigs, SOPs and quality benchmarks.
