Job summary

STAFFLINK SERVICES PRIVATE LIMITED, a US MNC leader in industrial control and power-management, is seeking an experienced Operations Manager for their Singapore site at Joo Koon. This permanent role leads an operational team, plans budgets, and drives lean improvements to meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets.

You will oversee planning, performance management, and cross-functional coordination across departments, aligning resources to achieve business objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with valve manufacturing or repair experience.
• Operational Management: manage and motivate teams to meet safety, quality, delivery and cost targets; monitor budgeting and cost control.
• Lean Mindset: 5S, Visual Management, Standardized Work, Daily Management Systems, Flow/Push, Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen.
• Leads Production System elements of capacity planning (people, machines, materials); leads DMS; understands cross-functional interdependencies.
• Collaborates with teams and senior management to align goals and improve operations; executive presence.

Responsibilities

• Team Leadership: Manage and oversee the operational team; ensure targets and quality standards.
• Operational Planning: Develop departmental plans, budgets, and priorities addressing resource allocation.
• Performance Management: Conduct appraisals, handle hiring/training, and implement development plans.
• Problem Resolution: Identify and resolve technical and operational issues to minimize disruptions.
• Cross Functional Coordination: Collaborate with other departments to integrate processes and achieve operational goals.
