Job summary

EY is seeking a skilled UX Service Designer to join our team in Singapore. You will work at the intersection of users, business, and technology to redesign end-to-end services and translate insights into practical digital experiences.

You will plan workshops, conduct user research, design journeys and blueprints, and develop interactive prototypes using Figma, FigJam and Miro. Collaboration with product owners and engineers is essential to deliver feasible, accessible solutions.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in design, HCI, service design or related field.
Strong user-research and workshop facilitation skills.
Hands-on experience creating journeys, service blueprints, user flows, wireframes and interactive prototypes.
Working knowledge of Figma and collaborative tools such as FigJam or Miro.
Experience with usability testing, accessibility, inclusive design and design systems.
Understanding of end-to-end service design beyond UI design, including people, processes, technology and operations.
Ability to translate user needs into actionable designs and work with business and tech teams.
Strong stakeholder management, presentation and communication skills.
Experience in Agile, multidisciplinary delivery teams.
Ability to lead design activities in ambiguous environments.
Experience in consulting or enterprise digital transformation is a plus.

Responsibilities

Plan and facilitate discovery, ideation, co-creation and workshops.
Conduct user research, interviews and contextual inquiries to understand needs and pain points.
Design current and future-state journeys, service blueprints, personas and experience maps.
Translate research into practical service concepts and UX requirements.
Develop information architectures, wireframes and interactive prototypes (Figma/FigJam/Miro).
Plan and conduct usability testing; apply findings to improve designs.
Apply accessibility and WCAG principles throughout the design process.
Collaborate with product owners, analysts, architects, developers and testers.
Apply design systems and reusable patterns for consistency.
Use data and research to support design decisions; present to clients/stakeholders.
Lead defined UX/workstreams from discovery to implementation.
Contribute to proposals and reusable design assets.
Explore AI-enabled tools to enhance research, design and delivery.
