Job summary

sggovterp is seeking a Manager, User Experience in Singapore to shape a platform used by citizens and staff daily. You will design high-fidelity interfaces, conduct usability research, and lead co-design workshops to align stakeholders and drive adoption of the OneMotoring digital shopfront powered by AI.

You will oversee design quality, evolve the design system, and ensure the experience remains user-centered across complex services and multiple users and regulators.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in UX or product design.
• Portfolio demonstrating hands-on work in Figma across complex digital products.
• Exceptional eye for aesthetics: typography, layout, spacing, visual hierarchy.
• Independently planned and conducted usability research with insights.
• Facilitated workshops and co-design sessions with stakeholders.
• Protect design quality while working with delivery teams.
• Understand AI systems behavior and design for appropriate expectations.
• Understand human factors and cognitive load in land transportation use cases.
• Designed for complex platforms with many services and stakeholders.
• Experience in the Singapore public sector or regulated environments is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Design the platform with hands-on, high-fidelity interfaces.
• Lead usability testing, interviews, and research with citizens and staff.
• Run co-design workshops to surface needs and build shared ownership.
• Refine the design system and component library with tech teammates.
• Guide vendors to deliver interfaces while protecting design integrity.
• Design AI into the experience with clear expectations and recovery paths.
• Track adoption post-launch and iterate for measurable value.
