Job summary

GovTech in Singapore is seeking a self-motivated User Experience Designer to lead end-to-end UX for HDB’s digital products, researching user needs and championing human-centric design within product teams.

You will design wireframes and high‑fidelity prototypes, conduct usability tests, ensure WCAG 2.0 compliance, and collaborate with product managers and engineers to deliver accessible solutions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of UX design or related experience.
• Strong understanding of design systems and component libraries.
• Ability to translate complex requirements into intuitive interfaces.
• Portfolio demonstrating user-centric design, wireframes, prototypes, and design systems.
• Experience with accessibility guidelines (WCAG 2.0).

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct user research to uncover needs and opportunities.
• Document As-Is and To-Be user journeys.
• Design wireframes and high-fidelity prototypes aligned with requirements.
• Conduct usability testing and iterative feedback cycles.
• Ensure accessibility and follow HDB Design System guidelines.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Engineers, and stakeholders.
• Engage in design reviews and QA to ensure quality.
• Participate in Scrum ceremonies.
