Job summary

Great Resources M&E Contractor Pte. Ltd. is seeking a qualified Civil Engineer for a full-time, on-site role in Singapore.

The position focuses on coordinating underground utilities and services, liaising between subcontractors, utility agencies and clients to resolve discrepancies in utility plans. Requirements include a Bachelor’s Degree or Postgraduate Diploma in Civil Engineering and at least 5 years of relevant experience handling utility coordination for projects of similar scale.

Qualifications

• Must have Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience coordinating with utility agencies.
• Ability to work independently with minimal guidance and collaborate in a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Manager on related underground utilities and services coordination.
• Coordinate between subcontractor, Utilities agencies and Client to resolve discrepancies on utility plans.
• Engage with utility agencies like PUB (Sewer, Water Supply, Network) and SWCs regarding interface issues on site.
• Ensure all New Civil Engineering works are in proper order prior to excavation and coordinate with Site Engineer on cable detection and NCE validation.

Assisting the Manager on related underground utilities and services Coordination between subcontractor and all Utilities agencies and Client to resolve discrepancies on utility plan Experience dealing with utility agencies like PUB(Sewer, Water Supply, Network) To liaise and resolve with SWCs on interfacing services clashes on site in a fair and professional manner Ensure all NCE are in proper order prior to excavation works Check and Coordinate with Site Engineer to ensure that no excavation work being conducted without cable detection or valid NCE

Requirements:

Candidate must at least a Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent Min 5 year relevant experience in the related field for this position, coordination with utility agencies for projects of similar scale, complexity and nature of work Be able to work independently with minimum guidance Good team player, keen desire to learn, contribute, advance and progress with the company
