Job summary

TALENT TRADER GROUP PTE. LTD. is seeking a Civil Engineer to conduct feasibility studies, site investigations, and risk assessments for utility projects in Singapore.

You will coordinate approvals and utility diversion works with government agencies and service providers. Collaborate with engineers, subcontractors, and design teams to ensure utility plans meet construction requirements and safety codes, while preparing technical reports and attending site visits to resolve on-site matters.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering recognized by the PE Board.
• Minimum 5 years of engineering experience, incl. 3+ years in construction supervision.
• Registered Earthwork Supervisor with EMA / SPPG.
• Strong knowledge of local civil codes and utility submission procedures.

Responsibilities

• Conduct technical feasibility studies, site investigations, and risk assessments for utility projects.
• Coordinate with government agencies and utility service providers to secure approvals and execute utility diversion works.
• Collaborate with engineers, subcontractors, and design teams to ensure utility plans align with construction requirements and safety codes.
• Prepare Method Statements, Safe Work Procedures, utility drawings, and technical documentation for timely regulatory submissions.
• Assist project leadership in preparing technical reports, maintaining project budgets, and adhering to strict deadlines.
• Attend site visits, field inspections, and progress meetings to resolve on-site utility matters.

Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering recognized by the PE Board, eligible for Resident Engineer registration, or an equivalent accepted qualification.
• Minimum 5 years of engineering experience, including at least 3 years in construction supervision for projects of similar scale and complexity.
• Registered Earthwork Supervisor with EMA / SPPG.
• In-depth knowledge of local civil engineering codes, practices, and utility submission procedures.
• Strong technical report writing, site coordination, and stakeholder management abilities.
