UNITED SINGAPORE BUILDERS PTE. LTD. is seeking a Resident Engineer for an LTA project.

The role involves conducting technical feasibility studies, coordinating with engineers, subcontractors and government bodies on utilities matters, and preparing method statements, risk assessments and safe-work procedures to ensure timely submissions. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of civil engineering experience, registration as an earthwork supervisor with EMA/SPPG, and the ability to manage drawings,

Qualifications

• Must have relevant civil engineering degree and PE Board eligibility or equivalent.
• Experience coordinating utilities and regulatory requirements.
• Strong ability to prepare technical reports and documentation on schedule.

Responsibilities

• Conduct technical and feasibility studies including site investigations.
• Collaborate with Engineers and stakeholders including subcontractors on utilities matters.
• Coordinate with government agencies; prepare method statements, risk assessments, and safe work procedures for timely submissions.
• Coordinate with utilities agencies for timely approvals and diversions to facilitate construction.
• Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure design accuracy and compliance with codes.
• Assist Construction Manager/Senior Engineer in preparing utilities drawings and related documents.
• Prepare technical reports within deadlines and budgets.
• Attend site visits and meetings.

Job description

Main contractor for LTA project seeking for theaboveposition:-

Alternate Saturday

Roles & Responsibilities:-

• To conduct technical and feasibility studies relatingtothe project, including site investigations etc.
• To work closely with the Engineer and otherstakeholdersincluding subcontractors pertaining to the utilities matters.
• Provide coordination with government agencies,preparingandcompiling documentation such as related method statements,risk assessments,safework procedures for timely submissions and review.
• To coordinate with various utilities agencies fortimelyapproval and carrying out of utilities diversion to facilitate theconstructionworks.
• Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure designs isdoneaccurately and meet construction requirements and understanding of thecode andpractices.
• Assist the Construction Manager /SeniorEngineer.inpreparing utilities drawings and related documents.
• Prepare technical reports with ability to work todeadlines and within budgets.
• Attend site visits and meetings.

Requirement:-

• Minimum 5 years of engineering experience with DegreeinCivil Engineering recognized by the PE Board or qualification acceptable to the Commissioner of Building Control as eligible for application as a ResidentEngineer or Degree in the relevant field subject to the acceptance of the Engineer, at least 3 years of experience in the construction supervision for projects of similar scale and complexity, and is a registered earthwork supervisor with EMA/SPPG.
