Job summary

CHYE JOO CONSTRUCTION PTE LTD in Singapore seeks a Civil Engineering professional to lead utility diversion and protection works for road projects. You will coordinate with LTA, utility agencies, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure safe, compliant, and timely execution.

The role requires reading and coordinating utility drawings, ensuring adherence to LTA specifications, and driving site safety and project progress.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Hands-on experience in LTA projects and utility coordination/diversion works.
• Familiarity with LTA specifications, procedures, and submission processes.
• Ability to read and coordinate utility and services drawings.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and manage utility diversion and protection works for roadwork projects to ensure timely and safe completion.
• Liaise with LTA, utility agencies, consultants, and subcontractors to coordinate services and resolve issues.
• Implement and enforce safe work procedures to prevent damage to services/utilities, especially during excavation.
• Review utility drawings, service plans, and method statements to verify accuracy and compliance.
• Coordinate with project teams to sequence utility clearance and related works effectively.
• Prepare and submit detailed reports, submissions, and as-built records for project documentation.
• Identify and resolve site utility conflicts and technical issues to maintain project progress.
