Job summary

OFFICE SECRETARIES PTE. LTD. is seeking an Automation Engineer for a minimum 1-year contract at Science Park in Singapore. The role involves conducting inspections, troubleshooting equipment, and performing maintenance on various systems.

Ideal candidates will have a background in Mechanical, Mechatronic or Electrical engineering and be well-versed in programming and CAD software. The position offers a competitive salary ranging from 2.8K to 3.3K SGD and additional benefits including 15 days annual leave and a 1-month completion bonus.

Job description

Our client, a Swiss MNC located in Science Park is looking for outstanding candidates to fill the position of Automation Engineer (Minimum 1 Year Contract, Salary : 2.8K to 3.3K, Location : Science Park, Benefits : 15 days AL, 1 month completion bonus etc.).

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment
• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions to identify root cause
• Perform repairs and replacements of faulty components and parts
• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and emergency maintenance situations
• Communicate effectively with team members, providing updates on equipment status and addressing any challenges
• Monitor and manage inventory levels of spare parts and maintenance supplies
• Create and update equipment maintenance logs and documentation.
• Coordinate with external vendors for specialized maintenance task
• Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with vendors to foster collaboration and open communication
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a secure working environment
• Ensure that all personnel strictly adhere to established procedures and protocols within the Permit-To-Work system, while concurrently overseeing the accurate and timely completion of all relevant documentation

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

• Programming knowledge such as C#, python, and vbscripts
• PLC programming such as ladder diagram
• CAD modeling software like Solidworks, Creo
• Cobot programming
• 3D printing and rapid prototyping
• Liquid handler programming
