Job summary

TRUST RECRUIT PTE. LTD. is seeking a proactive Logistics and Materials Coordinator in Singapore. You will monitor material requirements, coordinate with overseas suppliers, and ensure timely deliveries on project sites.

You will manage serialized inventory, maintain accurate records, and liaise with freight forwarders for import/export documentation and port handling. A Diploma/Degree in SCM is preferred, with ERP/WMS exposure and Lean Six Sigma training a plus.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience in material control, logistics coordination, warehousing, or maintenance support.
• Familiarity with shipping docs, customs clearance, and inventory management systems is advantageous.
• ERP and WMS training/certification would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Prepare roll-in/roll-out reports and ensure materials are staged for maintenance activities.
• Coordinate pre-packing, temporary export, and return shipments to overseas repair facilities.

Job description

Job Descriptions:

• Monitor material requirements and proactively follow up with relevant counterparts to expedite deliveries and ensure materials are available on site according to project schedules.
• Coordinate with overseas suppliers and counterparts to obtain and verify shipping documentation, including Bills of Lading, Packing Lists, Commercial Invoices, and Shipping Marks.
• Liaise with freight forwarders and logistics partners to coordinate customs clearance, import documentation, port handling, and inland transportation of materials to customer sites.
• Establish and maintain effective inventory management systems, processes, and tracking tools for serialized components, spare parts, hardware, consumables, and specialized tools.
• Maintain accurate material movement and inventory records, including the tracking of serialized components and preparation of roll-in/roll-out reports.
• Conduct regular stock-takes and inventory reconciliation for consumables, hardware, spare parts, and other materials, ensuring accurate reporting of stock levels and consumption.
• Ensure all required materials are withdrawn from customer warehouses and properly staged before and throughout scheduled maintenance activities.
• Coordinate the pre-packing, temporary export, and return shipment of components to overseas repair facilities for inspection, repair, or refurbishment, ensuring all relevant shipping and export-control documentation is completed accurately.
• Set up and coordinate temporary site offices and facilities to support project and maintenance teams during site activities.
• Manage on-site administrative arrangements, including site induction, transportation, meals, IT equipment, access arrangements, accommodation, and other site amenities.
• Maintain proper documentation and records relating to site administration and logistics activities.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with customers, suppliers, contractors, freight forwarders, and other project stakeholders.
• Address material, logistics, and site-related issues promptly and coordinate with relevant parties to achieve timely resolution.
• Support the team in maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction and service quality.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Relevant experience in material control, logistics coordination, warehouse operations, or maintenance support, preferably in industrial, power generation, or engineering environments.
• Familiarity with shipping documentation, customs clearance processes, and inventory management systems is advantageous.
• Training and certification in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) software, Lean Six Sigma would be an advantage
