Job summary

PES is an international services company serving the Life Sciences industry with a Singapore site focusing on upstream MSAT engineering for NPI and tech transfer. The role provides scientific leadership on complex investigations and cross-network alignment within the PD team.

The Upstream MSAT Engineer applies strong biologics process knowledge to assess performance, drive risk-based recommendations, and support readiness for manufacturing campaigns and PPQ.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead NPI and technology transfer workstreams; document risks and knowledge transfer.
• Translate process characterization and scale-up knowledge into site requirements; support readiness for engineering runs and PPQ.
• Identify gaps/risks; propose mitigations; escalate decisions to Tech Transfer Lead and PD leadership.
• Provide support for cell culture, harvest, and purification processes.
• Evaluate manufacturing performance and complex process issues using knowledge and experience.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality and others to resolve process challenges.
• Lead senior guidance on deviation investigations: hypotheses, data, root cause, impact.
• Integrate data to reach conclusions and risk-based recommendations.
• Coach PD engineers in problem solving and communication to leadership.
