Job summary

RECRUIT EXPRESS PTE LTD seeks an Underwriting Support professional to assist the underwriting team with new quotations, renewals and mid-term policy changes. You will liaise with insurance intermediaries and internal stakeholders to ensure timely, accurate documentation and policy processing.

You will also conduct sanctions screening, complete compliance checks, and maintain underwriting records and reports for management reviews. 1-2 years general insurance experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Min. 1-2 years of general insurance experience

Responsibilities

• Support the Underwriting team in managing new quotations, renewals and mid term policy changes for existing accounts.
• Liaise with insurance intermediaries and internal stakeholders to follow up on quotations, renewals, queries and required documentation.
• Prepare and communicate complete underwriting instructions to the Policy Administration team for timely policy processing.
• Conduct the required sanctions screening and ensure relevant compliance checks are properly completed and documented.
• Review policies, broking slips and supporting documents to ensure accuracy and alignment with underwriting instructions.
• Maintain underwriting records, schedules and statistics, and assist in preparing monthly reports for management meetings and business reviews.
