The Shipowners' Club in Singapore is seeking an Underwriting Assistant Support on a fixed-term contract of up to 4 months. This entry-level role provides exposure to the world of P&I insurance and marine underwriting, with a strong focus on administrative duties and learning from experienced underwriters.
You will support the underwriting team with documentation, client communication, and adherence to procedures, while developing attention to detail and MS 365 proficiency.

As an Underwriting Assistant Support, you'll play a vital support role, working closely with our Underwriters to ensure efficient and timely administrative assistance across various tasks. This is an entry-level opportunity, ideal for someone at the very start of their career with strong general administrative skills. No prior insurance experience or specific qualifications are required. We're looking for enthusiasm, a willingness to learn, and a genuine interest in gaining exposure to the marine industry, with support from experienced professionals along the way.
