Job summary

SEARCH STAFFING SERVICES PTE. LTD. is seeking a senior SoC Architect in Singapore to own peripheral subsystem architecture for wearables and IoT devices. You will shape power-aware interfaces, from transistors to cables, in a hands-on, IC-focused role.

You will lead RTL-style detailing, collaborate with RTL, physical design, and software teams, and drive post-silicon validation and production readiness for low-power silicon architectures.

Qualifications

• Experience authoring architecture specifications for SoCs, ASICs, or silicon IP implemented in RTL.
• 8+ years in SoC/ASIC architecture and design or silicon IP development for wearables, IoT, or mobile-class products.
• Hands-on experience architecting external interfaces: audio (I2S, PDM), imaging/display (MIPI CSI/DSI), high/low-speed links (USB, SPI, I2C).
• Knowledge of board-level electrical constraints, cable/connector requirements, PHY integration, and OS driver models.
• Experience shipping low-power silicon architectures from concept to post-silicon validation.

Responsibilities

• Architecture specifications for the SoC’s peripheral subsystems: micro-architecture definition, flow and sequence diagrams, power and performance models, and pseudocode.
• Off-die interface definition including modes, electrical and protocol behavior, and integration requirements for boards, cables, connectors, PHYs, and software driver model.
• Debug at RTL and gate level with the design team when implementation questions arise.
• Collaborate with physical design to ensure robust, optimal implementation of specifications.
• Power and performance trade-off analysis across full system dataflows guiding hardware and software development.
• IP investigation and selection with build-vs-license recommendations and supporting analysis.
• Integration specifications covering system interfaces and external power management.
• Post-silicon analysis and support for delivering SoC functionality into mass production.
• Use case and test case definition to support validation.
