Job summary

PERSOL SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking a QA Engineer to define and implement QA processes for high-quality software across mobile and web apps. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish testing strategies and ensure timely delivery of robust products.

The role covers manual and automated testing, including functional, regression, and sanity tests. A Bachelor’s degree in IT or science and at least 3 years of QA experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or science.
• 3+ years of QA/testing experience.
• Solid understanding of software testing methodologies.
• Understanding of Processing of Corporate Action or Trade Settlement for Equities.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prioritise, and manage testing across modules (Android app, iOS app, dashboard).
• Review and approve test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Develop and execute test plans and scripts for mobile and web apps.
• Perform manual and automated testing including functional, regression, and sanity tests.
• Identify, document, and track defects and work with dev teams to resolve.
• Design and implement test automation framework to improve testing efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement QA processes, standards, and best practices to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software developers, project leads, and others to understand requirements and establish testing strategies.
• Plan, prioritise, and manage testing activities across multiple modules (Android app, iOS app, dashboard), ensuring alignment with project timelines and objectives.
• Review and approve test plans, test cases, and test scripts developed by QA team, ensuring coverage and accuracy.
• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of mobile application and web application
• Perform manual and automated testing of mobile application and web application, including functional, regression, and sanity testing.
• Identify, document, and track software defects and work closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
• Design and implement test automation framework and tools to improve testing efficiency

Requirement

• Bachelor’s degree or relevant degree in IT or science.
• Proven experience as QA Engineer or Software Tester, with solid understanding of software testing methodologies and practices, with at least 3 years of relevant working experience.
• Understanding of Processing of Corporate Action or Trade Settlement for Equities
• Experience writing test cases, and UAT testing.
• Proficiency in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
