Job summary

Recruit Express Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a UAT Tester to ensure systems meet business requirements. You’ll work closely with application owners and software developers to understand product goals, features and workflows, and perform functional testing.

You’ll plan and run tests, execute test plans and create solid documentation of test cases. You will report bugs, validate system changes, and provide regular progress updates to stakeholders.

Job description

Perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure systems meet business requirements.

You’ll work closely with application owners and software developers to understand what the product is meant to do, its key features and its workflows. Once you understand what the program is meant to do, you’ll then carry out functional testing to ensure that the system works according to its specifications and that it works in a robust manner even in exception scenarios.

What you do

As a UAT tester, you’ll plan and conceptualize the necessary tests to be carried out and then organize test runs to ensure the user-friendly rating of the product. You’ll execute test plans, scenarios, scripts or procedures, and test system modifications to prepare for implementation. Supported with your strong analytical and communication skills, you will prepare solid documentation of test cases and effectively engage the stakeholders when reporting bugs.
Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.

Identify, document, and report system defects and track issue resolution.

Work closely with business users, application owners, and developers to validate system functionality.

Verify system enhancements and changes before implementation.

Prepare test documentation and provide regular testing progress updates.

Support system implementation and other testing-related activities as assigned.
