Job summary

A global professional services firm in Singapore is seeking a restructuring and insolvency specialist to lead engagements and collaborate with clients. The ideal candidate will manage financial analyses and contribute to corporate restructuring processes. As a restructuring and insolvency specialist, you will be part of a team who are dedicated to their craft in bringing practical solutions to our clients and their stakeholders, with hands‑on involvement in the implementation of restructuring and insolvency plans.

Responsibilities

Manage and lead insolvency and restructuring engagements including:

  • Performing analysis on the historical and current financial performance of the client to determine the viability of the business and identifying immediate remedies to resuscitate the business;
  • Assisting the client in the preparation of cash flow projection and ascertain the validity of the assumptions adopted and liquidity requirements of the client;
  • Liaising with various stakeholders of the client in administration of various forms of corporate insolvency and restructuring engagements (such as judicial management, liquidation and receivers and managers) including dealing with creditors’ queries, recovering and realizing assets and fulfilling the statutory obligations of the administrators;
Business Development
  • Supporting the business development initiatives, including the preparation of proposals and identification of opportunities.
  • Working closely with Partners and management group on client management and business development activities.
Requirements
  • More than 7 years of experience in corporate/individual insolvency and/or restructuring exercise
  • Possess a Degree in accountancy, or Finance or Business or professional qualification in accounting
  • Proficient with the Microsoft office applications
  • Be familiar with the applicable Singapore law on corporate restructuring and insolvency
  • Be able to lead and work in teams with good interpersonal skillsPossess a good understanding of business drivers and their fundamentals
  • Be resourceful, versatile, analytical and possess good project management skills
