Job summary

Hyve Solutions in Singapore is seeking an IT Support Technician to install, repair, and maintain company computers and devices. You will diagnose hardware and software issues, recommend solutions, and provide first-line technical support to all staff.

Your role includes assisting Network Administrators, documenting processes, and contributing to office relocation and equipment deployment projects as the company grows.

Qualifications

• Experience providing first-line IT support for hardware and software.
• Ability to document issues clearly and follow up.
• Familiar with security best practices and data protection.

• Recommends suitable software to meet user requirements.
• Troubleshoots complex software and hardware failures and identifies network problems related to desktop and laptop computers.

Job Responsibilities

1. Performs computer installations, repairs and preventative maintenance of all company computers and more complex systems.
2. Recommends suitable SW to meet user requirements.
3. Troubleshoots complex SW and HW failures and identifies network problems related to desktop and laptop computers.

• Install, configure and maintain systems for employees (hardware / software / access / security / business applications)
• Assist in the ordering, receiving, storage, deployment, and retirement of laptop and IT equipment assets
• TSG local troubleshooting and system support

• Assist in developing and documenting improvements to current processes
• Perform all work according to defined process while keeping pace with fast business growth.
