Job summary

Heng Lim Transport Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks a transport operations staff to plan and coordinate the transport requirements of our customers, ensuring timeliness and adherence to regulations.

Daily duties include answering customer calls, planning driver movements, liaising with customers, LTA and transport operators, and resolving delays. Proficiency with GPS, order management systems, and MS Office is expected.

Qualifications

• Ability to converse in English and Chinese; drivers are from China.
• Organised and meticulous in daily tasks.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Good understanding of roads in Singapore.

Responsibilities

• Answering phone calls from customers for transport requirements.
• Planning and co-ordinating driver movements.
• Ensuring operations comply with Singapore Transport Regulations.
• Liaising with customers, LTA and transport operators.
• Minimising disruption and resolving delays; making decisions under pressure.
• Meeting customers to address complaints and concerns.
• Using GPS and Order Management Systems to manage movements.
• Monitoring vehicle insurance, road tax and servicing dates.
