Job summary

The Public Service Division in Singapore is seeking a Deputy/Assistant Manager to join the Public Transport Network Surveillance team. You will monitor and enhance bus service performance, support the BSTT, and analyse network data using SQL and Python to drive improvements.

The role requires strong collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, meticulous data handling, and the ability to plan and oversee surveys and monitoring initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills with experience handling large datasets.
• Excellent communication to engage with internal and external stakeholders.
• Proficient in SQL and Python for data extraction and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Review and support BSTT to reduce driving duration on long-haul bus services.
• Manage outsourced contractors: tender preparation, contracts, claims and payments.
• Plan, schedule, and oversee surveys, audits, and monitoring initiatives.
• Analyse findings and operational data to produce situation reports and identify trends.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to improve bus service reliability.
• Generate and analyse bus operational data using SQL and Python for reporting.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Reporting Officer.
