Job summary

Land Transport Authority (LTA) is seeking an Assistant Manager, Bus Operations in Singapore to oversee bus safety governance and audit matters for public bus operations. You will coordinate safety meetings, conduct data analyses, and curate safety bulletins while engaging with communities and stakeholders.

The role emphasizes cross-functional teamwork, data-driven decision making, and the use of analytics tools such as Power BI, Tableau, and Python to drive safety improvements.

Qualifications

• Strong written, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
• Interest in driving business change using technology and data.
• Experience with data analytics tools such as Power BI, Tableau or Python is a plus.
• As part of the shortlisting process, a medical declaration and/or further assessment may be required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and provide secretariat support for bus safety meetings.
• Conduct statistical analysis of public bus accidents and generate management reports for safety improvement.
• Curate quarterly Bus Safety Bulletins to highlight emerging safety issues and mitigations.
• Arrange public engagements and educational materials on bus safety for communities and schools.
• Organise Bus Safety Roadshows and Public Transport Safety and Security Award Day.
• Conduct Bus Safety audits, QoS audits, Fare Evasion audits and Incident Management audits.
• Attend to feedback from commuters and operators on bus safety matters.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Reporting Officer.
