Job summary

The Land Transport Authority (LTA) Singapore invites applications for the Deputy/Assistant Manager, Public Transport Network Surveillance. You will join a dynamic team focused on monitoring and enhancing bus service reliability and overall network performance.

Duties include reviewing measures to reduce long driving durations for bus captains, coordinating surveys with contractors, analysing data with SQL and Python, and producing situation reports for service improvements.

Responsibilities

• Support BSTT in reviewing approaches to reduce long driving durations for bus captains on long-haul services and monitor progress.
• Manage outsourced contractors conducting bus and train surveys, including tender prep and contract administration.
• Plan, schedule and oversee surveys, audits, and monitoring initiatives; analyse findings and create situation reports.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify problematic traffic corridors affecting bus operations and reliability.
• Drive exploration and implementation of new initiatives to enhance network-level bus monitoring capabilities.
• Generate, extract and analyse bus operational data using SQL and Python to support reporting and trend analysis.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Reporting Officer.
