Job summary

Risewave Consulting, Inc. is seeking a senior professional to lead data centre investment opportunities in Singapore. You will drive sourcing, evaluation and execution of transactions, including acquisitions, sale/leasebacks and JVs.

You will partner across technical, operations, finance and legal teams to align site selection with growth goals, while managing external relationships with developers, landlords and capital partners.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years in data centre, infrastructure or CRE with investment/portfolio exposure.
• Proven track record in data centre or real estate transactions and alliances.
• Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Finance or related field preferred.

Job description

• Lead the sourcing, evaluation and execution of data centre investment and capacity opportunities to support the company's growth strategy, including acquisitions, sale and leasebacks, joint ventures and recapitalizations.
• Identifying and securing land or build-ready sites to meet forecasted capacity requirements.
• Negotiate and manage colocation agreements, leases and capacity contracts end-to-end, including commercial structuring, risk review and ongoing lifecycle management.
• Conduct Self Build vs Lease vs Colocation appraisals to guide internal portfolio and investment decisions, and present recommendations to senior leadership and investment committees.
• Partner cross-functionally with technical, operations, finance and legal teams to deliver site selection, project execution and capital deployment aligned with business objectives.
• Manage external relationships with developers, operators, landlords, advisors and capital partners, and represent the company in commercial negotiations and industry forums.

Job Requirements

• Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in data centre, infrastructure or commercial real estate, with exposure to investment, leasing, capacity sourcing or portfolio management — in-house or advisory background both welcome.
• Proven track record of leading or supporting data centre or real estate transactions, including acquisitions, sale and leasebacks, joint ventures, powered land/shell deals or colocation contracting.
• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline; degree in Real Estate, Finance or a related field is preferred.
• Strong commercial negotiation, stakeholder management and presentation skills, with experience managing cross-border mandates and influencing senior internal and external stakeholders.
• Leadership capability with a hands-on, ownership mindset, and willingness to mentor junior team members as the function grows.
