Job summary

Qualifications

• 5+ years of training experience with at least 1 year in a supervisory role in the semiconductor industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• Positive attitude and willingness to take on challenges.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, able to conduct classes in large groups.
• Thorough understanding of wafer-level training processes.

Responsibilities

• Review and enhance production training programs for engagement and retention.
• Ensure training materials are current and effective.
• Stay updated on new training methods and industry requirements.
• Identify problems and opportunities for training improvements.
• Conduct or facilitate required training sessions.
• Coordinate with vendors for outside training registrations.

Job description

Key Responsibilities:

• Reviews existing production training programs, suggests enhancements and modifications to improve engagement, learning, and retention and/or to meet the changing needs, the organization, or the industry.
• Ensures that training materials and programs are current, accurate, and effective.
• Maintains knowledge of new methods and techniques for training, and training requirements applicable to the organization and/or industry.
• Identifies problems and opportunities such as operational changes or industry developments that training could improve.
• Conducts or facilitates required and recommended training sessions.
• Collaborates with vendors and third-party training providers to arrange employee registration for and participation in outside training programs.
• Ensures that training milestones and goals are met while adhering to approved training budget.
• Prepares and implements training budget.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• At least five years of experience in training with one year of supervisory experience required in semiconductor industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in any engineering disciplines or related area required.
• Positive and can-do attitude as well as willingness to accept challenges.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and able to conduct classes in large group of audience.
• Thorough understanding of wafer level training processes.
