Job summary

SILICON BOX in Singapore is seeking a Training Supervisor to review and enhance production training programs, ensuring materials are current and effective and to stay updated on new methods and industry requirements. The role emphasizes engaging learning experiences for technicians in a fast-paced semiconductor environment.

You will identify opportunities for improvement, conduct trainings, collaborate with external providers, and manage milestones and budget while maintaining quality and safety

Qualifications

• Five+ years of training experience with at least one year in a supervisory role in the semiconductor industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
• Positive, can-do attitude and willingness to take on challenges.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to conduct classes for large audiences.
• Thorough understanding of wafer-level training processes.

Responsibilities

• Reviews existing production training programs, suggests enhancements and modifications to improve engagement, learning, and retention and/or to meet the changing needs, the organization, or the industry.
• Ensures that training materials and programs are current, accurate, and effective.
• Maintains knowledge of new methods and techniques for training, and training requirements applicable to the organization and/or industry.
• Identifies problems and opportunities such as operational changes or industry developments that training could improve.
• Conducts or facilitates required and recommended training sessions.
• Collaborates with vendors and third-party training providers to arrange employee registration for and participation in outside training programs.
• Ensures that training milestones and goals are met while adhering to approved training budget.
• Prepares and implements training budget.
