Job summary

Venture Corporation Limited in Singapore invites applications for an Engineer, Design (Mold Design) at Univac Site in Woodlands. This traineeship offers hands-on exposure to precision tooling, plastic injection mold design, engineering documentation, and cross-functional project support under a senior designer.

You will gain experience updating 2D/3D drawings, participating in DFM reviews, maintaining design records, and collaborating with Project, Tooling, Manufacturing and QA teams.

Qualifications

• Fresh graduate in mechanical/precision/manufacturing engineering or related discipline.
• Basic reading of technical drawings and GD&T.
• Familiarity with CAD and design documentation.
• Willingness to learn and follow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist in 2D/3D mold design updates, layout drawings, BOM, and component details.
• Support DFM review, drawing verification, tolerance checks, and design documentation.
• Maintain design records, templates, component libraries, and engineering change updates.
• Coordinate with Project, Tooling, Manufacturing, and QA teams for design follow-up.
• Follow internal design standards, customer requirements, and document control practices.
• Perform other design support tasks assigned by the Design Manager or senior engineers

We’re looking to add aEngineer, Design (Mold Design)inSingapore. The position will be based in ourUnivac SiteinWoodlands.

As an Engineer, Design, you will:

Support the Design team in mold design, 2D/3D drawing updates, DFM documentation, and design administration. This traineeship provides fresh graduates with practical exposure to precision tooling, plastic injection mold design, engineering documentation, and cross-functional project support under senior designer supervision.

• Assist in 2D/3D mold design updates, layout drawings, BOM, and component details.
• Support DFM review, drawing checking, tolerance verification, and design documentation.
• Maintain design records, templates, component libraries, and engineering change updates.
• Coordinate with Project, Tooling, Manufacturing, and QA teams for design follow-up.
• Follow internal design standards, customer requirements, and document control practices.
• Perform other design support tasks assigned by the Design Manager or senior engineers

What skills and experiences are we looking:

• Fresh graduate from ITE, Polytechnic, or University in Mechanical / Precision / Manufacturing Engineering, Product Design, or related discipline.
• Basic knowledge of engineering drawings, GD&T, mechanical design, and CAD software such as SolidWorks, NX, AutoCAD, or equivalent.
• Exposure to mold design, tooling, machining, manufacturing, or injection molding will be an advantage.
• Good learning attitude, attention to detail, and willingness to receive guidance.
• Able to read basic technical drawings and support design documentation accurately.
• Good communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
• Basic Microsoft Office skills for reports, tracking, and documentation.
• Responsible, organized, and able to follow procedures and customer requirements.
