Job summary

Hyundai Engineering & Construction Co. Ltd is seeking a Civil Engineer specialized in traffic engineering in Singapore. You will lead traffic management planning, coordinate with clients and LTA contractors, and prepare drawings and proposals for road diversions and signage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years relevant experience related to Traffic Engineering jobs.
• Experience in LTA projects traffic management and traffic diversion works.
• Technical knowledge in Civil Engineering Construction including traffic diversion, road widening works, site activities.
• Familiar with LTA CDC/SDRE and COP at Work Zone.
• Basic knowledge of Traffic Control Code of Practice (COP) and LTA standards.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.
• Relevant safety certifications (BCSS/Confined space/Work-At-Height) is a plus.

• Reports to Construction Manager
• Coordinate with Client, Consultants, LTA term contractors, construction team to manage traffic diversion and all associated work
• Prepare/ generate drawings and proposal related to upcoming works affecting existing roads, traffic diversion, existing road signages, and other road appliances
• Attend regular meetings with Client, term contractors & stakeholders, etc.
• Generate and handle company reports, meetings and documents required
• Propose alternative work methods or other ways to increase productivity
• Handle technical and engineering issues
• Ensure the activities comply with the quality, environment, health & safety requirements

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil engineering or equivalent
• Minimum of 3 years relevant experiences related to Traffic Engineering jobs
• Experience in LTA projects traffic management & traffic diversion works
• Technical expertise and knowledge in Civil Engineering Construction and with relevant experience includingTraffic Diversion, road widening works and other related site works
• Well versed and have experience in LTA’s requirements, such as Civil Design Criteria (CDC), Standard Details of Road Elements (SDRE) and Code of Practice for Traffic Control (COP) at Work Zone
• Have basic knowledge and understanding of Traffic Control Code of Practice (COP) and LTA standards
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Auto CAD
