Job summary

CHINA RAILWAY FIRST GROUP CO., LTD. Singapore Branch is seeking a Civil Traffic Engineer to coordinate traffic/diversion works, obtain LTA approvals, and supervise site coordination with sub-contractors and LTA term contractors.

The role requires a degree in civil engineering and at least five years of experience in traffic-related projects. Proficiency in AutoCAD and SIDRA is preferred to prepare drawings for authorities and to analyze traffic flow impacts on proposed alterations in Singapore.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent, supporting technical understanding of civil and traffic engineering principles.
• Minimum 5 years of experience managing traffic-related works, demonstrating practical expertise in the field.
• Strong knowledge of LTA road and traffic standards and guidelines, including SDRE, CDC, and COP, to ensure regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with consultants and construction teams to manage traffic diversion, drainage diversion, and final reinstatement works.
• Obtain LTA approval for traffic diversion stages by preparing and submitting PSR and safety documentation.
• Oversee and support site coordination with sub-contractors and LTA term contractors for pre- and post-traffic diversion activities.
• Prepare detailed drawings for submission to relevant authorities to secure project approvals.
• Conduct traffic impact assessments for new proposals to evaluate and mitigate potential disruptions.
