Job summary

Tardis Group in Singapore is seeking a Trading Systems Reliability Engineer to join its engineering team. You will own production incidents across in-house trading applications and collaborate with traders and developers to ensure the reliability of trading infrastructure.

This role blends hands-on production engineering, software development and real-time problem solving, with a direct impact on performance and resilience of the firm’s electronic trading systems.

Qualifications

• Experience in production engineering or high-availability technical support.
• Strong Python and Bash scripting with automation mindset.
• Deep knowledge of Linux fundamentals, SQL, configuration management, Git and deployment pipelines.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex distributed system outages under time pressure.
• Exposure to financial markets or electronic trading environments.
• Familiarity with order management systems (OMS) and market data protocols.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 1 and Level 2 technical support for production incidents across a suite of in-house trading applications
• Identify recurring operational issues and develop automated workflows and custom tooling to replace manual processes
• Modernise monitoring, alerting and reporting systems to improve platform visibility and ensure reliable execution of scheduled jobs
• Act as a key technical contact for the trading desk, collaborating directly with traders, trade monitors and core developers during market hours
• Oversee automated deployments and configuration updates, ensuring the stability and reliability of production systems
