Job summary

AAA Global seeks a Trade Operations Engineer to join its trading infrastructure in Singapore or London. You will monitor live electronic trading, troubleshoot incidents and work closely with traders and developers to keep production systems reliable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics or other quantitative discipline.
• Experience with Linux-based environments.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for complex technical problems.
• Interest in financial markets, electronic trading or quantitative strategies.
• Attention to detail and ability to make decisions under time pressure.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Collaborative and proactive approach to operational challenges.

Responsibilities

• Oversee live electronic trading activity ensuring production systems operate reliably.
• Monitor trading exposures and operational risks, identifying and responding to issues.
• Investigate and resolve time-sensitive production incidents with accuracy and minimal disruption.
• Diagnose application and infrastructure issues across trading systems.
• Support application configuration, production releases and software deployments.
• Review code, investigate defects and implement minor fixes or enhancements.
• Identify opportunities to automate operational processes and improve resilience.
• Collaborate with traders, developers and technical teams to maintain stable operations.
• Develop understanding of trading workflows, dependencies and risk controls.
