Job summary

Tower Research Capital is a leading quantitative trading firm seeking a software professional in Singapore to support high‑volume live trading and risk operations. You will contribute to automated trading systems, manage cross‑team projects, and help scale the trading platform with programmatic solutions.

The role requires 3+ years of experience, strong Python skills, Linux proficiency, and a solid grasp of trading technology and risk reporting. Hybrid work arrangements are available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline.
• 3+ years of professional experience in a related field.
• Strong Python programming skills and experience with real-time systems.
• Experience with risk reporting and P&L is beneficial.
• Ability to diagnose complex issues in live trading systems.

Responsibilities

• Monitor high-volume live trading and portfolio risk.
• Contribute to automated trading operations codebase.
• Manage ongoing projects with multiple Tower support teams.
• Coordinate software and hardware upgrades.
• Apply programmatic solutions to scale trading operations.
• Resolve discrepancies with positions, broker statements, and internal apps.

Responsibilities

• Resolving discrepancies with trading positions, broker statements, and internal applications

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline
• 3+ years of professional experience in a related field
• Strong software development skills in Python
• Working knowledge of Linux operating system
• Exceptional analytical abilities, strong communications skills, and experience making data-driven strategic decisions
• Strong working knowledge of PNL and Risk reporting applications
• Familiarity with current market structure and regulatory developments
• Ability to comprehend and diagnose problems in complex real-time systems with minimal guidance
• Capacity to work equally well independently and as a member of a team
• Strong understanding of trading technology and fluency in technical concepts
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
• Strong problem-solving abilities
