Job summary

CGS INTERNATIONAL SECURITIES SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking a detail‑oriented Compliance Officer, Trade Surveillance to safeguard market integrity by monitoring trading activities and investigating unusual behaviour.

You will support regulatory inquiries and review surveillance alerts within a fast‑paced team in Singapore. The role offers exposure to market conduct surveillance, MAS/SGX regulations, and working with Compliance, AML, Front Office, Operations, and regulators.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Accounting, or related field.
• 1–5 years' experience in Compliance, Trade Surveillance, or regulatory compliance; fresh grads welcome.
• Knowledge of securities and derivatives trading and surveillance concepts.
• Proficient in Excel and report writing; familiar with MAS/SGX regulations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor securities and derivatives trading activities using surveillance systems like Nasdaq SMARTS and investigate alerts.
• Assist in regulatory reviews, gather trading records, and liaise with stakeholders to clarify activities.
• Prepare investigation summaries, management reports, and regulatory notifications as needed.
• Support calibration of surveillance alerts and participate in projects to enhance systems and processes.
