Job summary

Taishin International Bank Co., Ltd. Singapore Branch invites an experienced settlement professional to join our operations team. You will manage settlement processes for diverse products and ensure timely and accurate trade settlements across desks.

The role requires 3–5 years in settlement, and you will liaise with head office in a multilingual environment, ensuring compliance with MAS/DTCC requirements while supporting periodic reports to management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Banking or equivalent.
• 3–5 years in settlement-related roles.
• Experience with Xact and SWIFT is essential.
• Familiar with MAS and DTCC derivatives reporting.
• Proficient in English and Chinese for liaison with HQ teams.

Responsibilities

• Trade settlement, matching, processing and accurate finalisation.
• Process settlement for FX, MM, derivatives, futures, and DTCC settlements.
• Process Clearstream bond and MAS bills trades.
• Reconcile and resolve settlement discrepancies promptly.
• Ensure daily operations comply with regulations and internal controls.
• Maintain liaison with Head Office.
• Support business plans and periodic management reporting.

Job Responsibilities :

• Trade matching, processing and settlement.
• Process settlement for FX, MM , Derivative Products, Futures and DTCC.
• Process Clearstream Bond and MAS Bills trade.
• Process repurchase agreement trades.
• Conduct System testing.
• Handle and resolve settlement discrepancies and ensure timely and accurate settlement of trade and payment.
• Ensure the daily operations are in compliance with the regulatory and internal requirements.
• Maintain close communication and coordination with Head Office
• Review and ensure operational problems, complaints and queries are resolved promptly and satisfactorily.
• Supporting business plans and periodical reporting to management.

Job Requirements :

• Minimum a Bachelor’s Degree in Banking or equivalent.
• At least 3 to 5 years’ experience within the settlement related field.
• Familiar with Xact and Swift is essential.
• Familiar with MAS and DTCC derivatives reporting.
• Experience in reconciliation, treasury operation control and clearing businesses.
• Proficient in spoken and written English/Chinese to liaise with Chinese speaking colleagues in headquarters
