Job summary

MSC Mediterranean Shipping Company in Singapore is seeking a Trade Executive (Intra Asia) to join the Trade Management Team and contribute to developing and improving intra-Asia trade performance.

You will work closely with internal stakeholders and senior management on capacity management, commercial execution, forecasting, and reporting using MS Office and Power BI to deliver timely analyses and actionable insights.

Qualifications

• Degree in Maritime, Logistics or Supply Chain Management.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Support the Trade Manager on Intra Asia trade development.
• Prepare contract fulfilment and competitors' analysis reports.
• Compile booking evolution and analysis reports.
• Consolidate forecasts and support space management planning.
• Support the preparation of customer reports and performance reviews.
• Maintain tariff and One Vision updates.
• Support routing set-up and transit time management.
• Assist with capacity management and space utilisation monitoring.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support trade service performance.

Job description

Based at MSC’s Singapore Regional Office, the Trade Executive (Intra Asia) will be part of the Trade Management Team, supporting the development and performance of MSC’s Intra Asia trade. This role works closely with internal stakeholders and senior management, focusing on trade performance, capacity management, and commercial execution.

Key Responsibilities

Trade Management

• Support the Trade Manager on Intra Asia trade development
• Prepare contract fulfillment and competitors' analysis reports
• Compile booking evolution and analysis reports

Customer Care

• Consolidate forecasts and support space management planning
• Support the preparation of customer reports and performance reviews

Product Management

• Maintain tariff and One Vision updates
• Support routing set‑up and transit time management
• Assist with capacity management and space utilization monitoring

Requirements
