Job summary

800 Super Waste Management Pte Ltd is seeking a seasoned supervisor to lead a team of field technicians in toxic industrial waste collection, transportation, and disposal. You will ensure strict regulatory and safety compliance while coordinating field operations and monitoring performance metrics.

The role requires strong leadership, hands-on safety knowledge, and the ability to train staff, document procedures, and collaborate with internal teams to optimize waste management activities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience in toxic industrial waste industry.
• Strong leadership and supervision abilities.
• Solid knowledge of safety protocols and hazardous waste regulations.
• Detail-oriented with good organizing skills.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and lead a team of field technicians engaged in the collection, transportation, and disposal of toxic industrial waste materials.


• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and safety standards related to the handling and disposal of toxic industrial waste.


• Coordinate field operations, including scheduling and assigning tasks, monitoring progress, and ensuring timely completion of projects.


• Conduct regular inspections and audits to assess compliance with safety protocols and identify areas for improvement.


• Train and mentor field technicians/machine operators on proper handling procedures, safety protocols, and equipment operation.


• Prepare and file safety and health documents.


• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as the Environmental Health and Safety department, to develop and implement waste management strategies and initiatives.


• Monitor and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate operational efficiency and identify opportunities for optimization.


• Prepare and maintain accurate documentation, including waste manifests, reports, and records of waste disposal activities.
