Job summary

Singapore Tourism Board is seeking a data analytics professional to manage the data lifecycle, perform advanced analytics, and distill insights to guide tourism strategy. You will work with business users to improve understanding of visitors, markets and products, and deliver dashboards that inform planning and growth opportunities.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years in data collection, wrangling, analytics and dashboards using R, Python and SQL, with strong communication and project

Qualifications

• Trained in Data Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Applied Mathematics or a related quantitative discipline.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in data collection, preprocessing, wrangling, analytics and data visualization.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and ability to solve strategic problems using quantitative approaches.
• Experience in modelling, creating, editing and publishing dashboards using visualisation tools.
• Proficient in data manipulation and usage of analytics tools (R, Python, SQL).
• Excellent written and spoken English; able to present to senior management.

Responsibilities

• Apply statistical techniques to process and analyse datasets from multiple sources.
• Transform data into analysis-ready formats and communicate findings via dashboards and visualisations.
• Translate insights into actionable recommendations for stakeholders and business questions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data quality and relevant data feeds for reports.
