Job summary

JOBSTER PRIVATE LTD. Singapore is seeking a data analytics professional to translate business use cases into analytical problems, write Python/R scripts, clean data, and build ML models. You will create compelling visuals with Power BI and dashboards for real-time decision support in government projects.

Collaboration with stakeholders to understand challenges, deliver analytics solutions, and guide data-driven storytelling is essential. Experience in agile project management is a plus.

Qualifications

• Translate business use cases into analytical problems.
• Proficient in writing scripts in R/Python for data preparation and analysis.
• Proficient cleaning, imputing and correcting anomalies in data to ensure quality.
• Proficient in exploring and analysing datasets using statistical methods to derive insights.
• Proficient in building machine learning models to identify patterns and make predictions.
• Proficient in design principles and use of visualisations to convey information.
• Capable of developing data visualisation from graphs to interactive tools integrated with data systems.

Responsibilities

• Generate monthly draft billing statements using Python/R and business rules.
• Process inputs and visualise monthly vendor performance reports on Power BI.
• Facilitate discussions with stakeholders to translate business challenges into data science projects.
• Perform data cleaning, preprocessing, feature engineering, and build data science models.
• Identify data quality issues and propose changes to reduce occurrences.
• Present findings and prioritise refinements with stakeholders while managing timelines.
• Communicate data insights through clear narratives with impactful visuals.
