Are you a skilled Process Engineer Professional in the chemicals industry looking for a new opportunity to support and contribute to global projects? Our Employment Agency is currently working with a leading corporation based in China launching operations in Singapore for the South and East Asia market.

As the Chief Process Engineer, you will be spearheading the implementation of SOPs and manufacturing process as they establish their Polymer and Chemicals operations in Singapore. You will be responsible for troubleshooting process difficulties, optimizing manufacturing processes, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement. Your expertise will contribute to cost effectiveness, product performance, and the successful resolution of technical and quality issues. Additionally, you will be involved in the start-up of new products and equipment, ensuring smooth production transitions and adherence to requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the charge in ensuring a safe work environment and maintaining superior product quality.
  • Tackle process difficulties head-on and swiftly resolve them, working closely with the cross-functional team.
  • Develop and implement robust safety protocols and procedures that exceed industry standards.
  • Unlock the potential for cost effectiveness and enhanced product performance through optimization of our manufacturing processes.
  • Drive impactful changes through capital projects, statistical analysis, designed experiments, and procedural enhancements.
  • Monitor key process indicators and introduce strategies to achieve operational excellence.
  • Collaborate closely with customers to address technical and quality issues, delivering innovative solutions that exceed expectations.
  • Develop a deep understanding of customer requirements and provide expert technical guidance to support their unique needs.
  • Forge strong relationships with customers through open communication and a solution-oriented mindset.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing operations, R&D, and marketing, to tackle challenges and develop cutting-edge products.

Requirements
  • Degree or above in Chemical, Material Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing or related fields.
  • At least 5 years of chemical manufacturing experience with a proven track record in process engineering.
  • Exceptional troubleshooting abilities and the capacity to analyze complex technical issues.
  • Proficiency in statistical analysis, experimental design, and process optimization techniques.
  • Strong project management skills, enabling you to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, allowing you to collaborate seamlessly across teams and convey technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with safety protocols, quality systems, and regulatory requirements.
  • Preferred experience in process start-up and equipment installation.
  • Excellent Bilingual skills to facilitate communication with global stakeholders.
