Job summary

Abercare.sg is hiring a cook to prepare all menu items, including breakfast, tea breaks and special diets for residents and staff. You will be responsible for cooking adequate quantities while upholding quality and food safety standards. The role requires strict storage hygiene and regular cleaning, following the SOP Santinise and safety policies.

Minimum GCE O level and a valid Food & Hygiene Certificate are required. This is a hands-on kitchen position based in Singapore with on-site duties.

Qualifications

• GCE O level qualification is required.
• Holder of Food & Hygiene Certificate is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare all menu items, including breakfast and tea breaks, and special therapeutic diets.
• Cook sufficient quantities for residents and employees while ensuring consistent quality.
• Store food properly and maintain hygiene according to SOP Santinise.
• Keep kitchen space clean and dispose of waste in covered bins.
• Adhere to workplace safety policies at all times.
