Job summary

MongoDB is seeking a Pre-Sales Solution Architect based in Singapore to guide customers in designing scalable data architectures using our platform. You will work with sales to win deals, deliver technical demos, and articulate the business value of MongoDB solutions.

The ideal candidate has 8–11 years in customer-facing roles with strong cloud/architectural experience, excellent communication, and the ability to travel up to 50%.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8–11 years in a customer-facing role with 3+ years in pre-sales for enterprise software.
• Proficient with modern scripting languages (Python/Node.js/SQL) and/or languages (C/C++, Java, C#).
• Experience designing scalable, highly available distributed systems in cloud and on-premises.
• Ability to review complex architectures with customers and propose improvements using technology.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable architectures using MongoDB platform for large software projects.
• Advise customers on architecture patterns and communicate business value to leadership.
• Collaborate with sales to drive account strategy and pipeline through technical discovery, demos, and documentation.
• Generate demand within the sales territory via technical initiatives, events, and ABM activities.
• Foster customer success and mentor Solutions Consulting teammates.
