Job summary

MongoDB is seeking a Pre-Sales Solution Architect based in Singapore to guide customers in designing and building scalable systems using our data platform. You will work closely with sales to move opportunities forward and ensure customer success across enterprises and startups.

The ideal candidate has 8–11 years in customer-facing roles, with at least 3 years in pre-sales for enterprise software. Strong architecture experience and excellent communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 8-11 years in a customer-facing role, with at least 3 years in pre-sales for enterprise software.
• 3+ years experience with modern scripting languages (Python, Node.js, SQL) or languages (C/C++, Java, C#).
• Experience designing scalable, highly available distributed systems in cloud and on-prem.
• Ability to review complex architectures with customers and suggest improvements via technology.
• Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills to convey complex concepts to leadership.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable, performant applications and infrastructure for large software projects using MongoDB.
• Advise on architecture patterns and optimization strategies, communicating business value.
• Collaborate with sales on account planning, qualification, and pipeline strategy.
• Proactively generate demand through technical initiatives and events.
• Foster strong customer relationships and ensure success and satisfaction.
• Mentor other Solutions Consulting team members and share field insights.
• Engage in ongoing training to stay current with MongoDB product suite.
