Job summary

Avon Industries Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a Testing & Commissioning Manager to lead all testing and commissioning activities, ensuring safe, compliant and fully operational systems in line with project spec and client requirements.

You will oversee planning, documentation, and team performance across mechanical, electrical and integrated systems, coordinating with engineers, site supervisors and subcontractors to meet project timelines and deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain ITPs, commissioning reports, checklists and handover docs.
• Monitor activities for compliance with specs and safety standards.
• Identify and resolve technical issues during testing and commissioning.
• Verify full integration and operation before handover.
• Support successful project completion and handover.

As a Testing& Commissioning Manager, you will lead and oversee all testing and commissioning activities, ensuring systems are safely commissioned, fully operational, and compliant with project specifications, quality standards, and client requirements.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Develop and implement testing and commissioning plans, including inspection procedures, checklists, and testing schedules.

• Lead, train, and supervise the testing and commissioning team, ensuring they are equipped to carry out commissioning activities effectively.

• Conduct and oversee on-site testing, inspections, and commissioning of mechanical, electrical, and integrated systems to verify compliance with design specifications and operational requirements.

• Coordinate closely with engineers, site supervisors, project managers, clients, and subcontractors to ensure testing and commissioning activities are carried out according to project timelines.

• Prepare, review, and maintain all commissioning documentation, including Inspection & Test Plans(ITPs), commissioning reports, checklists, test records, and handover documentation.

• Monitor testing and commissioning activities to ensure compliance with project specifications, quality management systems, statutory requirements, and safety standards.

• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues arising during testing and commissioning, implementing corrective actions where necessary.

• Verify that all installed systems are fully integrated, tested, and functioning as intended before project handover.

• Support the successful completion and handover of projects by ensuring all commissioning requirements have been fulfilled.

What We’re Looking For

• Degree or Diploma in Engineering

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Engineering Maintenance Services and 5 years in a managerial role

• Strong leadership, organisational, and people management skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

• Strong decision-making, planning, and problem-solving capabilities

• Ability to manage multiple projects and teams effectively

• Possess own transport
