Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with all safety procedures and regulations, as defined in the safety and health manual, and maintain good housekeeping standards at all times.
- Ensure that all standard operating procedures comply with specifications, quality standards, statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Promote safe working procedures to prevent incidents.
- Prepare and carry out risk analysis (RA) and job hazard analysis (JHA) for the work.
- Decide in consultation with the Project Manager / Commissioning Manager / yard manager on manpower requirements.
- Be proficient with the testing procedures and applicable rules and regulations of regulatory bodies.
- Identify system/sub-system boundaries and develop inspection check sheets accordingly.
- Prepare commissioning procedures as per specification requirements and be familiar with commissioning procedures and manuals.
- Take necessary precautions to ensure the work site is safe for testing / commissioning.
- Coordinate the works in VSCC, raise required permits, and carry out LOTO (Lock Out and Tag Out) for the work.
- Inspect the equipment (OFE and YFE) and prepare preservation requirements.
- Schedule Service Engineers’ requirements, inform them of test dates, and take charge of, and monitor, their works until completion.
- Arrange for protection, preservation, and maintenance of equipment and system.
- Allocate the systems to be tested to the various supervisors and sections involved in the operation.
- Coordinate the testing / commissioning requirements with Engineering, Estimating & Analysis, Project Manager, Quality Assurance Department / Client and classification surveyors.
- Liaise with owners, class surveyors and government bodies pertaining to project requirements and manage the commissioning activities as required.
- Plan and schedule the testing and commissioning requirements on a project basis, including all logistic requirements and equipment required for the commissioning.
- Ensure timely completion of project.
- Attend Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) / testing of equipment as necessary.
- Manage the career development and training of staff.
- Any other assigned duties and responsibilities.
Qualifications
- Minimum Diploma or Degree in Engineering.
- Valid certificates in welding inspection and non-destructive examination, and ISO 9001:2015 Certified Internal Auditor.
- Minimum 7 to 10 years of relevant work experience.
- Good experience in EPC Projects for Oil & Gas, Offshore Renewables & System.
Location: Seatrium (SG) Pte. Ltd., Tuas Boulevard Yard, 80 Tuas South Boulevard, Singapore 637051. Islandwide transport provided.
Working Hours: Monday – Thursday: 8:00am – 5:15pm; Friday: 8:00am – 4:30pm.
