Job summary

Avon Industries Pte Ltd in Singapore invites an Assistant Project Manager to drive projects from planning to completion, coordinating with clients, engineers, technicians and subcontractors to deliver on time and within quality standards.

The role requires a engineering degree or diploma, 5 years in Engineering Maintenance Services and 5 years in a leadership role, plus strong communication and problem-solving skills to manage multiple projects and teams. Own transport is preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Engineering is required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Engineering Maintenance Services is required.
• At least 5 years in a managerial/leadership role is required.
• Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving abilities are essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager in planning, coordinating, and overseeing project execution to ensure timely and quality delivery.
• Support day-to-day management of project activities, resources, and subcontractors.
• Monitor progress, schedules, budgets, and report updates to the Project Manager.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal departments to ensure smooth project execution.
• Attend project, operational and safety meetings and follow up on actions.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Assist the Project Manager in planning, coordinating, and overseeing project execution to ensure timely and quality delivery
• Support the day-to-day management of project activities, resources, and subcontractors
• Monitor project progress, schedules, budgets, and report updates to the Project Manager
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal departments to ensure smooth project execution
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, safety regulations, and company procedures
• Assist in manpower planning, material procurement, logistics, and equipment coordination
• Attend project, operational, and safety meetings, and follow up on action items
• Prepare project documentation, reports, and progress updates
• Support the Project Manager in resolving site issues and implementing improvement initiatives
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Project Manager or management

What We’re Looking For

• Degree or Diploma in Engineering
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Engineering Maintenance Services and 5 years in a managerial role
