Job summary

Emerson Singapore seeks a Test Engineering Assistant to support test setup, data analysis, and maintenance of test equipment in a collaborative manufacturing environment.

You will troubleshoot at circuit-board level, drive yield improvements, and work with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality and operational excellence. Diploma in Electronics/Electrical Engineering with 3 years of related manufacturing experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 3 years of related manufacturing experience preferred.
• Experience with lab test equipment like multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies is required.

Responsibilities

• Address production redlights and perform product failure analysis for test-related issues.
• Diagnose and resolve tester-related issues, including circuit board level troubleshooting.
• Support test data collection, analysis and yield improvements.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on test equipment and stations.
• Support new test station setups and related improvements.
• Develop and update manufacturing procedures and safety documentation.
• Coordinate calibration activities and maintain calibration records for test equipment.
• Collaborate with Engineers to resolve non-conforming components.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and other duties as needed.
