Job summary

Emerson is seeking a Test Engineering Assistant to support setting up and conducting tests, analyze data, troubleshoot equipment and drive continuous improvement in a collaborative manufacturing environment. You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality, equipment reliability, and operational excellence while maintaining documentation and safe work practices.

Preferred background includes a Diploma in Electronics/Electrical Engineering and 3 years of related manufacturing

Qualifications

Diploma in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or related field required.
3 years of related manufacturing experience preferred.
Hands-on experience with lab test equipment and electronics testing processes.

Responsibilities

Set up and conduct tests, collect data, and analyze results to drive yield improvements.
Troubleshoot tester-related and circuit-board component level failures.
Maintain/test equipment and calibration records; perform preventive/corrective maintenance.
Develop and update manufacturing procedures and safety documentation (RA, LOTO, SWP, ESR).
Support test-related improvements and new test station setups.
