Job summary

HRNET Ventures PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a capable test engineer to design and execute comprehensive test plans for optical and semiconductor equipment, including cross-functional coordination with R&D.

You will calibrate OE die test parameters, develop automated test scripts in Python or MATLAB, analyze data to drive improvements, and help standardize mass-production test specifications with our Malaysia team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Optoelectronic Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Measurement & Control Technology, or related field.
• 3+ years of hands-on test and verification experience in optical components or semiconductor equipment.
• Experience building automated test systems is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Formulate test plans and build test environments across optical, electrical, motion, and environmental dimensions.
• Calibrate core parameters for OE die test equipment—coupling accuracy, repeatability, BER, and efficiency.
• Analyze test data to identify bottlenecks and work with R&D for closed-loop resolutions.
• Establish test standards and develop high-coverage automated test scripts.
• Collaborate with the Malaysia team to standardize mass production test specs and SOPs.

What You Will Do

• Formulate test plans and build comprehensive test environments across optical, electrical, motion accuracy, and environmental adaptability dimensions.

• Calibrate core parameters for OE die test equipment—including coupling accuracy, test repeatability, bit error rate (BER), and test efficiency.

• Deep-dive into test data to identify performance bottlenecks, uncover design defects, and work closely with R&D teams for closed-loop problem resolution.

• Establish test standards and develop high-coverage automated test scripts to maximize efficiency.

• Collaborate with and support our Malaysia team in establishing standardized mass production test specifications and SOPs.

What We Are Looking For

Bachelor’s degree or above in Optoelectronic Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Measurement & Control Technology, or a related discipline.

3+ years of hands-on test and verification experience in optical components or semiconductor equipment. Experience in building automated test systems is a strong plus!

Technical Expertise

• Proficient with optical communication test instruments and statistical data analysis.

• Independent capability to design test plans and test cases.

• Scripting development skills in Python or MATLAB are highly preferred.
