Job summary

HRNET VENTURES PTE. LTD. is hiring a Test Engineer in West Singapore to join the R&D team developing semiconductor and optical testing solutions.

The role covers performance testing, reliability verification, and development of test plans and automation scripts. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Optoelectronic Engineering or related field, with at least 3 years of optical/semiconductor testing experience, strong data analysis, and proficient English communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Optoelectronic Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Measurement & Control Technology or related disciplines.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in testing and verification of optical components or semiconductor equipment.
• Familiarity with optical communication testing instruments and statistical data analysis.
• Ability to independently develop test plans and test cases.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and technical documentation skills.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English for technical communication.

Responsibilities

• Perform performance testing and reliability verification of R&D prototypes.
• Develop comprehensive test plans, build test environments and conduct optical, electrical, motion accuracy and environmental testing.
• Conduct index verification and calibration of die test equipment, ensuring accuracy, repeatability and testing efficiency.
• Analyse test data, prepare technical reports and identify performance bottlenecks or design defects.
• Collaborate with R&D teams to troubleshoot issues and drive product optimisation.
• Develop automated test scripts to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
• Establish product testing specifications, standards and procedures.
• Support the Malaysia team in developing mass production testing procedures, specifications and SOPs.
